Aviation biofuels still account for less than 0.1% of the total aviation fuel consumption. The important production cost is one of the main limiting factors to its growth in market share. SAF+ Consortium is looking at a new way to decarbonize the aviation sector by producing a clean fuel from the greenhouse gas emissions of large, industrial facilities.
